Primary Care Membership

Direct Primary Care (DPC)

A popular care model for patients who value a more individualized and connected care experience. It is designed for those who want more direct access, extended time during appointments, and ongoing support that includes services such as annual wellness exams, preventative care, ill visits and chronic health management.

What Is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care, often called DPC, is a healthcare model in which patients pay directly for primary care services rather than relying on the traditional insurance-based structure for routine care.

For many, this can mean a simpler model for everyday healthcare - one flat fee, one provider who knows you, no billing in between. This allows a personal healthcare experience with greater access, clearer expectations, and a stronger patient-provider relationship.

Who It May Be Especially Helpful For

Direct Primary Care can be a meaningful option for patients who are uninsured, underinsured, have high-deductible health plans or are looking for a more personal, accessible approach to routine care.

Beginning January 1, 2026, certain qualifying Direct Primary Care fees may be paid with HSA funds. Because FSA coverage rules can vary by plan, patients are encouraged to check with their plan administrator or tax advisor regarding eligibility.

What Is Not Included in DPC

Direct Primary Care includes many routine primary care services, but it does not replace health insurance. Services outside the practice, including but not limited to, specialist care, hospital care, emergency care, imaging, outside laboratory testing, medications, vaccines, and certain procedures, are not included in the membership fee. Services such as mental health treatment, weight management, and hormone therapy are also not bundled into the membership and are offered separately.

My Philosophy

I believe patients should have the freedom to choose a provider based on trust, connection, and shared goals. Not on limitations created by outside systems.

Direct Primary Care supports that philosophy by allowing for a more personal and patient-centered care experience, with time for meaningful appointments and a stronger focus on each patient’s individual needs.
